The curriculum of English at Asia Euro University is intended to aid students in
developing methods for critical interpretation, to acquaint students with
representative works in important periods of English literature, and to
introduce students to the main literary genres.
The curriculum is divided into two – the Associate program, a two-year course
and Bachelor program, a four-year course. Both degrees are designed to meet the
demand from public and voluntary sectors requiring professionals with skills in
English. They are professionally recognized and vocationally focused, and
offered practical learning experiences for all students. There are many
opportunities for graduates of the both degrees in the fields of communication,
teaching, translating, tourism, hospitality and business administration,
particularly where English proficiency is required.
The B.Ed is studied a four-year period. All students take part in the
university’s Foundation Year program which acquires the general knowledge and
basic ethical principles necessary for further university study. The students in
this course complete common courses throughout Years II and III before
specializing in their specific area of English studies and skills in Year IV.
The Associate program is studied a two-year period. All students take part in
the university’s Year I and Year II, semester I program which acquires the
general knowledge and ethical principles necessary for further university study.
The students in this course complete common courses throughout Year I and Year
II, semester I before specializing in their specific area of English studies and
skills in Year II, semester II.
Moreover, a degree in English gives students many skills most highly valued in
today’s job market: oral and written communication skills, critical thinking
skills, research skills, and organizational skills. Also, our pedagogical
practices emphasize and promote teamwork and the development of interpersonal
