The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Foreign Languages is one of the main faculties of Asia Euro University. It is divided into three departments: Department of English, Department of International Relations, and Department of Chinese. All curricula have been developed to meet the current labour market demands. The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Foreign Languages has been providing students with a positive learning environment of high degree-level compatible foreign language programs in which the students are given the opportunities to compete in each language, inspired to develop new ideas, and trained with language teaching skills along with hands-on internships on each skill.
Ensuring the quality education and meet the needs of students, the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Foreign Languages has developed its own mechanism to induce lecturers’ teaching and stimulate students’ learning effectively. Encouraging students know how to develop the ability, think logically, and success in problem solving is the example of faculty’s mechanism in learning stimulation. Inclusively, the faculty promotes any of possible research tasks starting from the early year of training and the capacity development activities for both professors and students through attending extra-curricular training programs and/or other relevant skills.
The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Foreign Languages directs its mission in effectively developing and training students on foreign languages and skills related to the foreign language, including English, International Relations, Chinese Literature, and Chinese for Business to master real skills aligned with job market demand.
Promote and improve the quality of study, vocational education, and students’ ethics.
Following guidelines within the 5-year strategic plan, the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Foreign Languages has the following objectives:
1. Provide students the competent training and skills aligned with demand of the labour market
2. Enhance capacity development for staff and lecturers
3. Promote research and strengthen education quality
4. Induce teaching and stimulate learning
